Born and bred in London, I spent the early years of my career working in the National Health Service, the Ministry of Defence and a private practice in Marylebone. It was then I realised I had an aptitude for Podiatry and a burning desire to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
Fuelled by this ambition, I launched Walk This Way Podiatry in Amersham in June 2012. I wanted to create a regional centre of excellence for Podiatry & Orthotics, recognised for its professionalism, high-level of expertise, cutting-edge technology and above all, drive to improve people’s wellbeing.
Some people say I am a force of determination and known for pushing all sorts of boundaries to create a vibrant environment for my clients and also my team.
Today, I live with my husband and children in Chesham. When I’m not at work, I love keeping active, enjoying long walks with my whippets in the Chilterns or a good session of yoga. I also love diving when I get a chance and have a little obsession with two-toed sloths.
When at home, I find pleasure in the little things. Making pancakes with raspberry jam and lemons and dedicating time to friends and family top my never-ending list. And although life is crazy and busy, I wouldn’t change what I have for the world!
